Public Records

The Dover-Sherborn Public Schools is committed to open government and aims to improve transparency through increased access to public information. Massachusetts law protects the right to access public information and has long mandated government disclosure of records. The district fulfills this responsibility to citizens by proactively posting commonly requested documents to its website and by providing access to or copies of public records upon request.

In accordance with the amended state public records law, Chapter 121 of the Acts of 2016, the Dover-Sherborn Public School District has designated Elizabeth McCoy, Superintendent of Schools, as the Records Access Officer (RAO).

The Public Schools of Dover and Sherborn request that all Public Records and Freedom of Information requests be in writing. Requests can be submitted via email or USPS:
