The Dover, Sherborn and Regional School Committees are thrilled to announce that last night, the committees voted unanimously to select Elizabeth McCoy to be the next Superintendent of the Dover Sherborn Public Schools. Beth will assume her duties on July 1, 2022.

Currently, Beth is the District’s Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.  Beth came to the District in 2017 after 10 years as the Assistant Headmaster at Boston Latin School.  She has had numerous achievements while working for the District.  Most notably she led the effort to create an excellent hybrid learning plan for the 2020-21 school year that was a model for other districts, she led the effort to create our Portrait of a Graduate and currently she leads DS AIDE, which advances diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in the district.  Beth is a graduate of Colgate University and has a Masters of Education in School Leadership from Harvard University.

On behalf of the School Committees, we would like to thank all of the members of our DS community who followed and participated in the search process.

Please join us in congratulating Beth on this selection.
