  • Identify the 5 regions of Western Europe and the unifying characteristics of each.
  • Explain the relationship between natural resources and population distribution.
  • Explain how being a “peninsula of peninsulas” influences the climate, economy, and outlook of Western Europe.
  • Analyze the steps Europeans have taken to achieve economic unity.
