SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER 

The School Business Manager is responsible for the fiscal operations of the Dover Public Schools, Sherborn Public Schools and the D-S Regional Schools. The position requires knowledge of the following skills:

  • Municipal and school finance
  • DOE accounting procedures
  • Accounting and payroll software systems
  • Budget development and implementation
  • Mass. School Building Authority regulations and procedures
  • Personnel management
  • State bidding procedures
  • Transportation contracts and procedures

Salary range is $100,000 to $105,000 with a competitive benefits package. Non-traditional candidates are encouraged to apply for the position.
Anticipated start date is August 3, 2009.

Community Education

Head Teachers:  Extended Day Programs - Dover and Sherborn 
We are seeking a Head Teachers to work closely with the Director.
Duties include: planning and carrying out daily activities, responsible for the supervision and management of a group of children, experience with special needs children preferred, attend staff meetings and required training.  

Dover: The position requires the following: Monday-Friday, approximately 4 hours per day, 2:00-6:00PM, and 11:00AM - 6:00PM every other Wednesday on early release days. The average work week will be 20.5 hours. This position will include standard benefits, pro-rated for the number of hours worked.
