We are pleased and proud to announce that the music teachers from Chickering Elementary School, Pine Hill Elementary School, Dover Sherborn Middle School, and Dover Sherborn High School are completing a 2 1/2-year curriculum design and implementation project slated for public release and presentation at the joint school committee meeting on January 24, 2012. We are also excited to announce that the health and physical education teachers from Chickering Elementary School, Pine Hill Elementary School, Dover Sherborn Middle School, and Dover Sherborn High School are beginning the second year of a comprehensive K-12 curriculum project scheduled for completion in the summer of 2012. The DS Public Schools' PD Schedule reflects ongoing curriculum work taking place at each school as well as curriculum work spanning all four schools during the 2011-12 school year. With the Commonwealth's recent adoption of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), math and English teachers in each school are in the process of reviewing existing curricula against CCSS.
