Welcome to Fall 2008
Community Education programs include the Child
Development Center, Children’s after school enrichment programs, extended
day programs for elementary school students, courses for teens and adult
education. Community Education is looking forward to a great year filled
with many exciting learning experiences. As always, we are interested in
your comments and suggestions. Please feel free to call, write, e-mail, or
stop by the office. Your participation and support are much appreciated. We
recommend sending a snack for the after school programs since the kids tend
to be hungry by the end of the day.

Please note
· Parents must send a note to their child’s
teacher each time the child is staying at school for a Community Education
class.
· It is also helpful to the school, and to the
child, if the school is notified when the child will not be staying for a
class in which he/she is enrolled.
· Room locations will be announced at school on
the first day of each class. At dismissal children should proceed directly
to their enrichment classrooms. For later classes, parents must accompany
children to the assigned classroom.
· When class is over, please meet your child at
the classroom promptly.
· No curbside drop-offs or pickups are allowed for
the safety of the children.
· Please read our policy statement on the
registration form.
· The program reserves the right to cancel classes
that are under-enrolled to change times and locations. where necessary, and
substitute instructors. |
